Sukhothai Historical Park - Museum and Coffee Break

Coffee stop at a cafe opposite the park.

Chapter two - the story of the Red Shirts . . .

Our journalist from Malaysia . . .  Oh, the banana reminds me of our toilet stop at a village police station where  you are welcome to help yourself with free flow of coffee and bananas!  It's true.  When we arrived the only policeman around had to dash off to an accident scene which we just drove passed.

I can see the future  . . .

Bicycle for rent to go round the park.

Some of the exhibits at the museum.

First visit the museum then the park.

A structure made of fabric outside the museum.

More info of the park on Thaiways magazine

Among the scattered ruins, the park is ideal to spend a lazy afternoon, explore the area on a bicycle or perhaps a picnic by the lake.  Ah, but we haven't got such luxury, need to get going . . .

The story of Red Shirts continues . . .
